Default Transmission swap/Upgrade

Hi guys,

I have a question regarding the bolt patterns between the 4t60e and 4t65e (non HD). The 4t60e on my 1993 Eighty-Eight gave up the ghost and I want to swap in a 4t65e off of a 2000 Monte Carlo SS with the L36; are the bolt patterns between the L27 and L36 the same for these transmissions, or would it be simpler to swap the whole longblock assembly with the ECU&PCM from the Monte Carlo to the Eighty-Eight?

Thanks in advance!

Call the salvage yard. They can cross reference them.

The transmissions don't swap. Nor do the engines. they are different PCMs, different wiring, and the 65 doesn't even have a vacuum modulator.
