Default Plz help 99 Olds 88

After buying OHHH so many new parts on my 1999 olds 88.. it was still running rough. A friend suggested replacing the plenum gasket, after examination revealed an air leak near one corner of the plenum. Ok, did that, but he forgot to replace the O rings.. so he RE-did that.. NOW it is blowing steam out the exhaust (I mean my radiator was full and now it is EMPTY) AND it has quite a bit of gas in the oil (it had some gas in the oil before the gasket change too). I DON'T want to do any further damage. Can someone please please give me some ideas to fix this before it gets any worse? Thanks in advance, Leah

Your leaking coolant from the coolant passages in the UIM right by the EGR pipe. Plug the passages and you should be good.

You are correct. The fix is easy, sorry, don't have a write up on the fix. I tapped the coolant passages and put a 1/4" plug in, then removed the rubber gasket part of the gasket around the coolant passages and filled it with red RTV and put a nickel in place, and that sealed it right up.

Ok, I "THINK" he did what U said, & plugged the holes. But now the car won't start at all. I'm thinking it'* from all the antifreeze that got pumped through my motor & blew out my exhaust? He pulled the plugs out, dried & re-gapped them....still nothing.

Replace the plugs, they don't like coolant fowling. Make sure there is a spark.
