Cool New owner to 1997 Oldsmobile Bravada

Hello everybody, I am new here to GM Forums but not new to car forums. I have been a member to a forum for what ever vehicle I owned i.e. Sentra forums, jeep forums. I am a newly divorced father of two awesome kids, I also have a small dog rescue where I live. In 2012 I suffered a stroke and also suffer from other health issues that fill my day and life with pain. Before my marriage and the birth of my kids I purchased an 2003 Jeep Wrangler. I loved that ride until this past year I have had issues that it'* getting too much for me to fix or maintain. Due to my disability I don't have much of a budget to purchase a new vehicle. I have a friend that will trade title for title for a 1997 Oldsmobile Bravada. My parents were always a fan of GM had both Pontiac and Oldsmobile'*. I also do my best to own an American car. Now I know I am getting a car that is 6 years older and many feel that'* a step backwards. My requirements for a vehicle are now with two children I need a four door, I need something that can tow my utility trailer, preferably four wheel drive since I live in the country. A SUV is nice and I really liked my exwife'* 2012 Equinox that I bought her before our divorce. So anyway here we are. I am hoping to take position of the Bravada here in the next week or two. So since I don't have it right now I don't have any pressing questions but I am sure I will in the next few weeks. If there is anything that you can recommend I will be grateful. Look forward to making more new friends here soon.

Drop the fuel tank now, and change out the sending unit. I have kids too, I don't like seeing these Blazers, Bravada'* stuck on the road because of bad fuel pump. Don't go cheap either, stay away from Airtex fuel pumps. Get AC Delco.

Upgrade the poppet fuel injectors to the newer style fuel injectors. They are know for leaking fuel and causing drive ability issues.

Also do plenty of reading on the LIM gasket issues.
