Recently, I replaced the fuel pump on my '91 98 Regency. Since then I've noticed that when fueling, the fuel nozzle is NOT cutting off when full as it had (having a mess the first time I fueled....loosing about a gallon of the liquid gold). I replaced each hose, fitting, bolt, and connection on the tank when I replaced it as it had been before. Obviously I did something wrong......any thoughts?

Has this happened at more than one pump? The kickoff of the pump is a function of the gas pump, when it "feels" return pressure as the gas starts bubbling up the fill tube.

not quite... Its not pressure related at all. There is a small hole on the bottom of the gas pump handles tube (that you stick into your cars gas tank filler tube), when that hole fills with fluid, the pump shuts off. Sometime in winter it can fill with ice and you'll have problems pumping gas too.
