Default Duel exhaust, kind of.

Always been a fan of duals, even if its just the tips. Course my '95 88 had no option for this like the Bonneville. So, did some checking on the Walker website. Between a Olds and a Bonny with dual outlets, not a lot of difference 'cept the muffler and hangers. Head out to the local pick-n-pull. Spy a '96 Bonny with dual outlets. Exhaust system in really good shape. I whack the pipe about 3-4 from from the cat and scarf all the hanger, bolts and rubbers. Pipe, tips and muffler all come out in one piece (welded system). Measuring about 5 times, I whack my perfect, single outlet system from my '95 (now I'm committed!). Using a pipe coupler, I join the "new" exhaust to my pipe using band style muffler clamps keeping the bolts at the top of the clamps. Removed the single hanger and proceeded to install the bonny hangers in OEM holes present on both sides (no drilling). Lube up the rubbers and slip em over the hangers. Boom, dual outlet system for $40. Needed some slight trimming of the lower valance to clear the exhaust tips. Total actual install time, about an hour. This included multiple measuring and sitting there wondering if I really wanted to do this ( wife shaking her head in disbelief that I am cutting a perfectly good exhaust off). Does it go any faster? Naw, don't think so. Do those shiny dual tips look cool peaking out under the bumper? You betcha. Doesn't seem any louder than the single tip setup, as least from inside the car.

Agreed. I'd love to see that. It'* a shame Olds didn't think to put dual exhaust outlets on the LSS to help differentiate it from the Eighty-Eight on which it was based.
