This is the 2 pictures of the master cylinder i had my son take so maybe you could tell me I dont see a brake booster behind the master cylinder.

So do i have a nightmare on my hands here or is this something thats been seen before?

Did you check to see if the parking brake is fully retracted or in the full up position. Sometimes, when you release the foot/parking brake, it won't come all the way up and shut that light off.

When you first turn the key on, does the ABS light come on, and then go out, not come on at all, or stay on?

Are you noticing any other issues? Noises, improper ABS engagement, etc?

I sent him to mineake thinking ok they should be able to fix this ........well they said the brakes on your car look great everythings fine as far as we can tell......but....we dont know anything about that abs system and cant fix the light but we can replace it for $1000 bucks

the fluid is fine
i told him it looks like they made a mess and to clean that off so we can see if theres a leak .

not having a abs tool my self the first couple things i do is check the wheel sensors, pretty common to get junk in it, make sure the connectors are good and reseat them. im not surprised they didnt know what they were talking about i have better luck finding a non-corporate owned local shop

he said it the light comes on as soon as you start the car sometimes but always after you drive a little bit

the pedal is firm and to panic stop you have to really push it hard
