Angry 90 cutlass supreme

has vacuum leak, can hear it loud and clear, but i can not find the sucker. it will idle fine for a minute then it begins to sputter and eventually stall. starts right up every time but then when i give it gas it dies out. I just cleaned the EGR valve and can not feel any air anywhere. did the carb cleaner check but still no luck. any ideas?

Can you tell where aprox, what side/ under the hood the leak is coming from?
If you can find a shop with a smoke machine, that would make it easy to find the leak.

It is near the firewall, i have felt around and looked for broken lines but nothing.....its very loud and i think thats making the engine stall when giving it gas. i paid 100 bucks for the car so i dont wanna take it to a shop and get charged for something that would normally be an easy find

Shot in the dark....

If you open the engine oil cap, does the noise go away, and does it affect the way it is running?

So update, i lifted motor and checked every single vaccuum line in the rear of the engine where the noise is definetely coming from and nothing is off, loose or cracked....i am at a loss as the sound is still there. no idea what could be causing this. CAN this cause the car to stall when tapping the gas?

Which engine does this car have?

It may be worth a shot to do a solid cleaning on the entire top end, including MAF (if so equipped, use the special spray), IAC, etc. Also check fuel pressure and make sure there is no fuel leaking from the FPR.

Are you able to post a video of the noise and how the car is acting? Any codes being thrown?

It is the 3.1
often there is no code at first. then as engine begins to sputter engine code says MAP sensor, but i replaced and still same thing. all connections good and no leaking there.

I will try to post a video
