Hello,

I have a leaking heater core in my 1992 Olds Toronado Trofeo.

I do have the shop manual for it and while there is an extensive section on air conditioner repair, there is very little on the heater core.

It looks like the instrument panel has to come out completely but it is unclear as to where all of the screws, bolts, etc. are that have to be removed.

Has anyone ever done this?

Any help, advice would be appreciated. I am doing this in an unheated garage so do not want to spend hours & hours experimenting if I can avoid it.

I have the same situation w/ my '92 Olds 98. I have the 2" inch thick svc manual, but it lacks sufficient detail on the remove-replace procedure.

You both may want to check and see if ebay has the shop manual for sale. Better than the Hayes manual you can buy at any auto store.
