There are 5 194 style bulbs behind the gauges. White LEDs actually have a light blue tint to them, and turn the gauges blue. I had those in until the one behind my gas gauge went out, then I put blue in.

The heater knobs are actually just rubber coated clear plastic. I boiled mine for a little while to loosen the glue and slowly peeled it off. Took about a half hour. Fairly easy for how good it looks.

I was looking at putting LEDs in the HVAC controls earlier.. the only way to do it is to put LED strips in there.. the bulbs are soldered to the board. They do have the green "condoms" over them, so taking those off might make everything white, which would look a lot better with the blue than green haha.

I don't know if the radio has the condoms on them too or not. It's been a while since I had that apart, so I can't really remember what they were like.

Thanks! Its really nothing to it, and it looks really good when done. I've had a few people compliment them at night

I have 2 more ongoing projects you might like:

    Cleared HVAC knobs

and Blue gauges. I'm thinking about trying to change the radio and HVAC lights from green to blue, but I don't know how difficult that will be.

I also forgot to mention that I put blue LEDs in the rear map lights and white leds in my front map lights (wiring is screwed up, so they only work when they want to haha)

    That's how I started. haha.

I have since put LED strips under the front and back of my driver and passenger seats that is hooked to the RAP plug behind the glove box, and 1m long strips at the top of my windshield and rear window that come on with the interior lights.

My lights under my seats stopped working a couple months ago, and I haven't looked at what happened, so I just disconnected them until I think about looking at them.

I have a thread about doing the quad high beam mod, I don't know if that's the one you're thinking about or not.
