My cousin is autistic, deaf and mute. When he was growing up I never understood why the T.V. volume was always cranked. I figured he couldn't hear it but his parents told me it was the vibrations. Who knows for sure.

let me rephrase that, he could still feel vibrations in his ears? Idk, hard to explain I guess.
