Default Can you belive some people.

The other day my wife says to me that she was sitting in her van in the parkinglot of Target. When a young girl got in a nice newer caddy. The girl looked at her and then drove off. She didn't think much of it. Right after that a woman came out and handed her a slip of paper, she said, this is the plate number from that car that just left. She hit your van when she parked, got out, looked and wipped off the scuff and went shopping. So my wife called the police and filed a report. Seems this kid has a history of things like this. She'* 17. I told my wife, that'* great, because no mater what any accident in a parking lot iis 50/50, unless it'* a hit and run. She went and got an estimet, $450 in damage. The dad spoke to my wife and said bring the estimet to me I'll pay you personally. How nice, rich daddy will make the problem go away. Either way we get our money for the damage. But what bothers me is what this kid is learning. Just throw money at the problem and it goes away. What if this kids hits a person next? Come on people, teach yoru kids to take responsibility for there actions.

Go with the insurance. Get 3 estimates, have the insurance pay you the highest of the 3. It'* your right, and will teach them a lesson.
