Ford low balls their trade ins BAD here....they said they'd give me $500!! for the SLE....**** THEM....

most dealers here will give you $500 just because it came in on it'* own power....Of course they test drove it and didn't realize that the trans has no 4th or O/D lol

Don't feel bad, my aunt took her 97 Saturn SL2 in for trade in (fully loaded, TC, Leather, moonroof, 6 disc, etc) with a new trans and 100k miles, they only gave her 500 for it, THEN had the nerve to put it on the lot and sold it for $3200!!!!

Ya they're telling me that they're gonna wholesale it and get their $500 back and everything would be a wash. They say that 98 and 130K is impossible to get financing on, and the buyer for that car would have to get cash or something like that, and it cost'* them like $800 to recondition the car and inspect it before they can get it on their lot, and that'* not counting finding the hidden problems (my bad tranny) lol.
