Just finish and be done with it. If you stop you might not make it back for whatever reason. Life has a way of stepping in and changing your path. If you don't like what you are doing, change majors.

Take this as you will.....
Take it from someone who would give anything to turn the clock back and do things different.
Stay your *** in school, get your degree and have a great life.
If you take the year off you may not want to go back and that would be a waste of the time and effort you have put in so far.
Like Tracey said,if you don't like the major you are persuing at this time change it. It'* not too late. It would only be too late if you decide to take a "vacation" and lose the drive to better yourself
PM me later and I'll tell you my story

I took a year off after my first year in, after the war,.... and Dam it'* been a long year. You should really rethink what you want to do and seek a new Major.

Taking a year off usually winds up being longer then planned. If you're in a computer field you NEED certifications and degrees, as well as things to set you apart from the field.
Yes the idea of some money now is nice, but its nothing compared to what you can make when you're done.
I don't know about your circumstances or finances either, but if you have student loans, you'll have to start paying them now as well.
