When I was looking for cars in my area, I saw a lot of BMW'* and Mercedes that had been salvaged. I see the car and it has a decent amount of miles, I do a carfax and find it had been totaled and salvaged, or there was a large discrepancy in mileage.
German cars drop in price depending on mileage. Once they hit a certain mark, the price literally cuts in half. There is a point when no amount of engineering can keep wear and tear from getting to your parts, and when the parts aren't cheap to buy or install, the value of the car as a whole drops.

actually, it'* probably a scam. They've started to change them and they look more like real ads now. Best bet, type on the main portion of the title into google and see how many come up for the same car in 9 million locations. easiest way to find a fraud.
