Anyone watch wrestling? Seriously... It was on today running into a show I was waiting to watch, and it was worse (fake) compared to how it used to be. They showed a side on shot of a guy "punching another". He was 2" from his face, and you could see the gap!

Seriously a waste of money, fake blood, and chairs.

yea, just a decade ago I used to love that stuff, but got to fake and more like a soap opera now. today these guys just throw around their bodies at each other and "punching" each other. i still can remember Brett Hart putting on the sharp shooter or the Ultimate Warrior with that colorful costume. yea it was fake, but a good fake!

When I was a little kid, it was an excuse to stay up late on Saturday nights and watch TV with my Dad (and he would assure me that it was all just fake every time someone appeared to have sent someone else off on a stretcher)....so my judgement might be different since I'm siginificantly older now, but it seems to have gotten much worse. What bugs me is it'* always been fake, but now they seem to be going farther and farther off on this weird soap opera background story thing. It weirds me out.

I never liked wrestling. I was more of a boxing fan. I like boxing, hockey, and football. My favorite part of hockey is that they get to beat the tar out of each other and aren't split up until they fall.

Anyone who has ever looked at WWF and wrestling as a serious fight such as boxing needs to rethink their take on it. WWF was designed, aired, and performed as a show, pure entertainment. Just like Barnum & Bailey. It was never a contest, or a match of skill.

There was a kid I used to live next door to that would always swear up and down that it was real. And I used to swear up and down that he'* got issues.

Now, if you want to watch real wrestling, watch the "Tough Man" competition. That'* real wrestling.
