Default Worst Hail Storm (for SSEi95)

I was up in Crystal (SSEi95'* city of residence) doing a job yesterday and got socked by the worst hail storm I have ever seen. Goflball and a few baseball size hail really jacked up our work trucks. It sounded like a dozen guys with hammers were slamming on the roof of the truck. My buddies Gf decided to go for a drive to the job site in her 94 Crown Vic. Did she ever choose the wrong day to do that. Of course it is totalled. This was about 1/2 a mile away from Goordy'* house. Just wondering how the C3 held up?

It'* weird. I live maybe 3 miles from Gordy, and we got maybe 3 pieces of barely pea sized hail. The hail must have built up just north of my house. Crystal and the Brooklyns got the snot pounded out of them, according to the news. Us? Just rain and wind for the most part

They had a microburst in the western metro last night. TONS of cold air comes straight down through the atmosphere, essentially sending the cloud straight to the ground, whether it be rain, ice, etc...

Here'* an image of one (not last nights' but same thing)

So it got ugly fast..

I don't think the 95 did. And -we owe him a reassembly day this summer sometime.

I was at work, parked on the first floor od a 6 story parking ramp C3 is unscathed!!!

My Wife'* was out and about and no where near home when it hit. The Aurora already has a few minor dings from hail, but avoided this one completely.

Worst I had was a ton of those little helicopter tree leave thingies all over my yard.
