okay my turn i decided to go a diffrent route as my laptop picks up my neighbors wireless networks i made a deal with my neighbor to pay him each month to use his wireless...it picks it up but will not connect yes the password is right ect ect but it says it connects then when i go to open internet it says its not connected any idears??????

I take it you're using Windows Vista/7?

Does it work when you're closer to his house?

So is it connecting or not?

Under network connections in control panel it says connected but it won't open internet...And it makes no matter how close i am or not and now its windows xp
