need help settin up a network kinda. wireless and xbox360
heres the deal. i dont want to spend 70-100 bucks on a network adapter for my xbox360. so upon searchin around online i found that you can do it with a connect cable (aka crossover cable)
i bridged my connections and couldnt get it to work. anyone have any idea how to do this? maybe im doing it wrong. please help. ive searched everywhere on the interent.

what dont you want to spend money on? im not familiar with the 360, but why would you need to buy an "adapter" if it already has an ethernet hookup?
if your laptop has a wireless connection and an ethernet port, you SHOULD be able to connect to your internet wirelessly with the laptop, then send the connection out through ethernet to the 360.
i did that a while back, although not with a console. you basically use your laptop as a router.

EDIT: Of course you will see the above applies to XP, not sure about Vista...
