I had an ex that wouldn't buy boots.. said style should always win over function/practicallity.

All I can tell you is she was "stylish" pulling a half gainer into a snowbank because she didn't wear boots.

We don't have a lot of snow here....more ice than anything else.

My wife doesn't have to work AGAIN today (teacher).

Gonne--that parking lot looks awefully familiar! We parked in that exact lot this past October when we drove to Deadwood, SD. We made a pit stop at drug store.

It'* terrible here. 14" on the ground, and 2-3ft drifts EVERYWHERE. I had to shovel myself out off the porch to get the newspaper that wasn't even delivered. Accidents everywhere, stores closed, schools, many people didn't even have work, salt trucks and plows aren't helping, since the snow is like powder. This is one of the worst storms I HAVE seen in my life, and hopefully the las as I plan to move to AZ or CA. Lucky dad has a 4x4.

Things are pretty cool here...only got about a foot, but it took me two hours to blow/shovel out the driveway ....did the neighbor'*...

they're predicting at least another 6, possibly 10-16 if we get Lake effect too...

The wife woke me up to snowblow the driveway. The lovely plowmand buried it with 4ft of chunky stuff. I just love when he does that.

Other than that we got about a foot of fresh snow and its still falling at about an inch an hour. I'm sure I'll have to snowblow again before I head out to work. I wish I were still in school - they're all closed! LOL

we have about 10-12 inches already this morning up here. They are estimating another 15-30 more inches today into tonight and maybe another 10 inches the day after.

Yes...I'm anticipating having to park on the road and blow out the driveway before being able to get into the garage. I don't mind snowblowing...just not three times in 24 hours.
