Default windows movie maker

Does anyone know how to take a video created in windows movie maker, and burn it onto a DVD so you can play it in a DVD player? I can't find a program that will do it. (for FREE!!) Thanks guys, a ton!!

what format does it make them in? and are there any other available formats to choose from? im not familiar with WMM, but I know some things about burning dvds. check out www.doom9.org and i think its videohelp.com for file to dvd info.

save it as a video and use nero.

windows movie player saves it in .AVI or .WMV files only. Nero only accepts .bup .vob .ifo files.

I burn .avi to DVD in nero all the time

how do you do it? do you burn it as a data cd? Does it play on a DVD player? (NOT the computer, but an actual DVD player.)
