Outside of hardcore gaming, Wii is for everyone. I don't know about you, but after N64, remote buttons became to complicated.
I've got a PS2, and never played it. I have a Wii and I play it all the time.
Its not that gimmicky for me then. Wii sales seem to reflect that, its forced down prices of Xbox and PS3.

My preferred choice for any video game system would be PS2 (or 3). But I've played Wii a couple times and it'* a very cool idea. My arm gets sore after baseball though.

I have an Xbox 360 and I love it, it has the greatest game selection currently, which is what convinced me to buy it. The Wii is kinda fun to play with other people, but its boring by yourself. I'll get one of those when they get cheaper and some more games come out. I plan on getting a PS3 when Gran Turismo 5 comes out and it drops in price to under $200, since thats the only game I plan on getting for it, I also hope they start packing in the DualShock 3 soon. I love my rumble.

The Wii is pretty cool. I played it at a friends place and 3 of us played bowling for a couple hours while drinking. Its an awesome social machine.
I already spent my money on a 360 (stayed in the cold for 13 hours to be one of the first idiots in the nation) and only play it for a few exclusives, racing, and fighting games. Otherwise I stick with my PC for gaming.

I don't use my PS2 either. It sits in a wooden chest with some old computers that I don't use either. I still use my Nintendo Gamecube though. I probably use my PC for gaming more than my 360 though even.
