Sorry to hear the news Vince. Hopefully it will only be a short while. I hope you manage to get some sleep without her next to you. I know it took a long while to get used to sleeping alone when I started working nights and Brenda was on days.

We both have 8 year contracts 4 active 4 Inactive reserves they call it. She still has 2 1/2 years inactive reserves and so do I.

The plan is for her to go to Camp Pendleton, CA for 5 months then head to Iraq for 7 months.

Good news! She put in a deferrment for school, she is 4 credits away from her associates, and it got accepted. She wont be going back.

congrats man I am glad you and your girl dont have to separate about 7 years ago my girl (ex now) went off to the navy and now no one knows where she is... kinda crazy but in a way its a good thing because I love my wife that I never would have met if that never happened
