I can agree. I actually do know one guy..he'* not rice exactly, but he'* on the edge of it. He just got a new Hyundai Tiburon. They aren't too bad looking so I didn't cringe when he showed me it. (I thought he was going to get a Mustang...he said he was going to) Anyway...he'* put a ton of $$ into it already, including a TV on his rearview mirror..DVD, intake. But he'* going to get a different exhaust (hopefully not ricey) and a carbon fiber hood that won't match the car, and some funky graphics on it. I hope he stops there. But he'* a real cool guy.

Oh yeah..and he'* 60 years old.

Sure bonnes arnt v8s but hell... Still a GM cast.
Back then (When I was a boy), it was different though. There it was big mascle cars & racing was just starting out. i was talking about modding out your "Street" vehicle not a "Race Only" one.

Just remember not all of us like to be called "Ricers" either. I may have a Bonneville, but I also support & drive a "Sport Compact". Just because it is a modded import, doesn't mean it'* RICE!

Your body kit and wing don't do anything for you, but add weight. I don't understand the concept of putting as much money into a cheap car as it cost in the first place....

Again "ricer" is a combo of a car made to look more that it can do and a driver to match.
Thats why there is a ricer Grand AM GT on my base, it is just obseane what was done to this car. - I can't wait to have him get froggie on the SSEi and I walk him like the dog he is.
I have some import buddys but they know that wing is only good for looks, their car(*)
have a few stickers- but only from real mods -no APC crap.
