Let'* just say that they're all about looks, yet want to go fast... in their 'performance' vehicles.

It'* actually to do with movies like 2 fast, 2 Furious. You see most "Sport Compact" owners like myself, don't think that way. Yes, my car has Ground FX & a rear spoiler too, but it doesn't really come into play except at highway speeds. Mine are also for looks. My Erebuni kit was designed for my car too, as most "Ricers" (Yes, we call them that too - at least the dumbfucks that go overboard), do not get specific designed items for their car. They (Ricers) just slap on whatever costs the most & what they feel looks good regardless of any benifit (or in most cases - lack of benifit) to performance.

Ricers are usually not too intelligent people. They may have lets say $20,000 they have for a car. But instead of buying a decent car with that money that has power to begin with, they buy the cheapest sh## possible (Hyundai, hand-me-down Civic or Saturn...) so they have their other $10,000 or so for ugly looking body kits, ridiculous wings, fart
cans, intakes, etc..that don't add any considerable amount of power to their already wimpy cars.

I'd rather spend $25-30K on a good, powerful car, and then slowly put more money into it, instead of buying a cheap car and dump a lot of money into it right away, wasting my life savings.

They lack common sense, but must not care what others think if they like driving a junkie Corolla with a factory spoiler AND a aftermarket wing with yellow lights on it, and a grapefruit shooter hanging off the back that almost drags on the ground and sounds like a giant weedwacker, as they get passed by a 3500 pound car with two guys laughing their a$$es off and pointing at their stupid a$$es.

They where allready dumb before they got the car, but the car paid the price.
Thats why there are ricer Camaros and Mustangs among other things.
Keep in mind they want the "LOOK" of high performance, and don't care about really getting it. Hell when the hightlight of your mods is a airfilter set up what else can you do? I just laugh @ the and let them think they even come close to the class and PWR of the SSEi or my IROC. They why most have such a big chip on there sholder cause they want to be legit in the real world and we don't give it to them. I'm not a "import" hater- hell I could own a nice I-6 BMW those can talk the talk. A real modded RX-7/8 can give most anything a run and can win.

That'* true about their attitudes. I don't know one ricer that doesn't have a chip on their shoulder. Of course it doesn't help their 'chips' when I drive by them when they're in the middle of a McD'* parking lot on Friday nights, blocking traffic, and yell out the window, "Move your shi**y rice cars out of the way!!!"

Just remember one & all! that if it wasn't for these so-called Ricers, then you wouldn't have ANY MODS at ALL!

I know quite a few guys that I'm friends with that drive 'ricers' and they're cool guys. Just goes to show that not all 'ricers' are like that.
