I hate seeing things like this.

My dad runs a very reputable shop and does very honest business. His place has even been voted #1 in the city by the newspaper.

Dishonest places like that give my dad'* shop a bad wrap.

Well, this isn't totally true.. I work at an exhaust/automotive repair shop and we don't allow people to watch for insurance reasons.. we do have a window where you can watch, or sometimes the door is open.
Being a car person i feel bad when the muff-man turns away customers that want to watch, i know how it feels..i'd want to watch too.. but its too big of a liability, especially on a small repair shop.
