I like both cats and dogs...I guess it also depends on the personality of the particular animal...

#1 - Cats cant pull DOG sled !
I have (we) have 5 Alaskan Malamutes. two purchased and raised as pups, 3 that are rescue dogs. They have kennels, excersize pen, wheel cart and sled. Their also house dogs, everyone gets their night in the house except sheding season which is now most of the summer. We have traveled over 2000 miles together in 5 seasons and done some awsome wilderness trips into the Adirondac State Park. Some of the most awsome experiences I have had hittin the trail with my " vagrants and vagabonds. "

We had one cat for years probably 8-10. He was a cool cat. He was trained to go out in the morning and he could stay in at night. No litter box, I think litter boxs are descusting. Very hardy cat. He did actually follow my older team a ways when we went out right from home. Then when we were coming back home he would sneak attack us. It was a lot of work getting the dogs used to him. Malamutes if not raised with animals and live stock see them as prey. Ones that are raised on farms or with cats never bother other animal.

Im a dog man all the way. Im actually a dog magnet, I've had owners of typical dobermans and pit bulls get mad at their dogs because they were immediatly friendly with me. Truely visous dogs however hate me because I hate them and give them the look. I really hate dogs that are people aggressive.

3 things I dont like about cats
1 - fleas - come from mice and who knows where else they get them they are free roaming so they are flea bags, flea collers work though
2 - sticking the butt in my face, no cure for that
3 - older inside/outside cats - "I wanna come in" I wanna go out" "Now I wanna come in" " No wait, I wanna go out"

Lots of fun until their 3 years on.

Animals rock

Before I get blamed for starting this fight...

I like cats, almost got my wife a cat for Xmas. I may kidnap the one from upstairs if they don't start treating it better.

And they taste just like chicken......
