Default Why dogs are better pets than cats

http://www.sodwork.com/funnyitem.php...&startnumber=0

1. Dogs will tilt their heads and try to understand every word you say. Cats
will ignore you and take a nap.

2. Cats look silly on a leash.

3. When you come home from work, your dog will be happy and lick your face.
Cats will still be mad at you for leaving in the first place.

4. Dogs will give you unconditional love until the day they die. Cats will
make you pay for every mistake you've ever made since the day you were born.

5. A dog knows when you're sad. And he'll try to comfort you. Cats don't
care how you feel, as long as you remember where the can opener is.

6. Dogs will bring you your slippers. Cats will drop a dead mouse in your
slippers.

7. When you take them for a ride, dogs will sit on the seat next to you.
Cats have to have their own private basket, or they won't go at all.

8. Dogs will come when you call them. And they'll be happy. Cats will have
someone take a message and get back to you.

9. Dogs will play fetch with you all day long. The only thing cats will play
with all day long are small rodents or bugs, preferably ones that look like
they're in pain.

10. Dogs will wake you up if the house is on fire. Cats will quietly sneak
out the back door.

I have owned cats and dogs but I prefer dogs. My dog, Louie, is very loving, playful, and sweet. He stays by my side if I'm home sick and he loves to play fetch. He has brought great joy to my life. The cat I had was too cool though. He could pee in the toilet and that was something he taught himself. He was an affectionate cat and I loved him dearly. Okay, I guess I love animals in general but I don't like snakes, spiders, mice, ferrets, and loud screeching birds.

I dislike cats a lot. Sorry cat lovers, but it seems as though all you do is feed them and never get a chance to see them. Actually I had a cat a long time ago and i'd never see it. I'd know it had been around when the food was gone. Now dogs on the other hand are great. You can talk to them and they'll listen.

I'm allergic to cats, so that solves that problem. Sorry girls, no CATS!

I wanted a Husky and to call him Yukon, but now I want a German Shepperd or a Golden Retriever. I like the name Lancer or Chase

I love labradors, they are such wonderful pets! That is one nice thing about dogs is that they give you unconditional love.

This is so true though. Cats are great pets and to be honest I prefer cats to dogs, but dogs do give you the instant kind of love we look for. Cats on the other hand will give you love when it suits them. And yes most labs are great dogs, expect mine. He is too smart for his own good. And he is just so big and clumsy that he is just becoming a hazard around the house lol.

Cats can be really comforting. I grew up with mine...she was a former feral cat. She'* now 13 (i'm 19) and when i went through a lot of tough times last year, she never left my side. She'* an outdoor cat who REFUSES to come inside, but she spent a lot of time happily inside with me. She stayed close to me, always seemed to know when something was wrong, and when I cried, she'd nuzzle me and lick up my tears.

Cats can be awesome, it'* somewhat the way they're raised. I'll cry the day I have to move and leave mine behind.
