I have to reply to this topic. When I had the Bonnie, it was a threat to my license. I got four or so speeding tickets in that thing, the lowest being 15 over, all the way up to 25mph or so over the limit. But then the icing on the cake was when I got tagged doing 105/65 and got charged with reckless driving.

Now that I have a gutless econobox, I don't drive fast anymore. Maybe up to 10 over the speed limit

The sad thing is you can't do 25 over any more, your car can't do it
It can get right up there, its speed limited at the same spot as my Pontiac, 108mph!! But that requires running up through the gears, and I'm too lazy to downshift

Oh... 0-108 in 3 minutes with redlining every gear??? what the heck kind of engine does that econobox have anyway??? these bonnies without the governer should be able to hit 145 MPH or so bone stock and thats the NA Series II ones
it has a 1.6L four, 115hp. Sans governor it might do 115, maybe 120. Your NA Series II might touch 130 if your lucky (remember, air resistance becomes a huge factor at those speeds, and Bonnies are not particularily aerodynamic either)
