Welcome aboard.. glad to have you join us... it would be nice however when you have some time to fill in your signiture so later on if you have any questions ( which we all do ) we can easily help identify your car year and model.. hee hee.. that is normally Wills task to bug people about their sigs but he'* right now and Jr is on his star.

I usually do 120 130kmh and at least 10 kmh over in.. the only time I speed more is when some lil Punk *** Rice is in front of me.. I push him a lil.. then he goes speedin off.. and I keep a nice gap in between us and pick up speed way above speed limit to match. The reason why I instigate Rice to drive fast is cause they usually do.. and the gap is usually for when the cops hide in a blind spot ( speed trap ) and by the time they pull out to catch that lil bugger for speeding.. I would see him/her and have enough time to slow down.. this has saved me countless of times and have yet to receive a speeding ticket with this trick ( knock on wood ).. would've been nailed for a 150kmh on a 60 zone on a buzz cruise up to Orangeville early last summer if not for the Civic/Accord.. they all look the same to me ( CRAP ) that I tailgated till he sped up.. hee hee..it always reminds me of the rabbit and the turtle.. but this turtle don't get the speedin ticket..hee hee... and who has the last laugh when they're pulled over by the cop and given the ticket.. hee hee.. sometimes it'* worth not racing everyone

I usually speed 5 to 10 mph over the posted limit. Had the 98 ssei over 90 the other day on the interstate. Not sure how fast I've had my 88 le up to cause the speedo ends at 85 but I've had the speedo laying on the dash

I usually drive at the posted limit.
Ya right.
If the limit is 50 kph (30 mph) in the city, I do 40 mph.
If the limit is 60 kph (40 mph) around town, I do 50 mph.
On the highway 80 kph (50 mph) = 70 mph
On the freeway 110 kph (70 mph) = 90 mph
Naturally there are usually bursts of of speed up to the limits of nerve and physical conditions.
I have had my SSEi up to 210 kph (128 mph).
The fastest I have driven in my Firebird is 155 mph.
There is a particular stretch of coastal highway here between two Ferry runs. It'* like a one hour race from one end to the other along a mix of twisty and straight road. When it'* busy, you want to make sure you get on the Ferry in case it fills up and you have to wait 2 hrs for the next one. So needless to say............I'm usually the first one to the terminal at the other side.
And the bonus is that there is rarely any Federales around to bother with regulations, it'* so far out of the way....they'd have to leave the do-nut shop.
It'* a fun run but hard to justify the $50 cost of the Ferry just for the pleasure of the drive.

I can honestly say that I have never taken my car to triple digits. I generally go with the flow of traffic (5 to 10 over). I will rarely go 15 over. I don't see the need to.
I have some friends who are just freakin crazy, and always want to drive fast, and never use their brakes. I think it'* just stupid, and an accident waiting to happen.
Don't get me wrong. I do gun it occationally, but I'm normally the common speed kinda guy.

I respect all drivers who drive the speed limit.
I pass them respectfully in the left hand lane, traffic permitting, at the highest possible speed.
I really can't help it.
I'm an adrenaline junkie.
I've been driving like this for 32 years, can count the number of tickets I've ever had on one hand, haven't had one for a few years now, and never had an accident involving another vehicle. (Wrapped one around a tree 25 years ago - no one hurt - car totalled)
I definitely have an Attitude when I drive.

Well this will be in canuck speed, km/h, LOL. Just drove out of town for the weekend adn it was a 90 limit and drove 120 most of the way till the skys opened up and sarted to dump a tonne of water on the roads at night too, so I slowed down to about 100-110km/h

I don't mind if someone drives the speed limit, but if they are below it, I get angry.
Also, I hate it when people accelerate very slowly. I do not see the point of it. Wasting a little more gas to go faster and put people at ease is worth it in my opinion.

With my Z71, I learned very quickly that people will get out of your way like they won't if you're in a car....with one exception. Something about the way the front end of the Bonneville looks.....maybe because it LOOKS fast, people tend to get out of my way in the fast lane.
I tend to speed, but generally when my kids aren't with me. Being double protected, front and rear with radar, does two things for me. Keeps me from getting a ticket while speeding (under most circumstances) and also keeps me from speeding too much.....the falsies slow you down.
Oregon has alot of wide open spaces. That'* where the loud pedal gets mashed for the most part.
