I have a cigar once in a while or I'll let a passenger smoke with the window open. I know one of the previous owners smoked because of the cigarette burns in the carpet near the center console.
The good thing about leather seats is that the smell doesnt stick to them (or minimally?)

Havent smoked since june 19th 2005. MrsC still does. Both our Bonne'* are the same color, inside and out. My controls and ***** are free of the brown grime that they used to have. She smokes in my car once in awhile. Takes a few days for the smell to clear.

Parts of me still miss it. :( I agree with the smokers saying that the car is the last free zone around, besides the home.

Hah, same here...you can tell how much I hate cigarettes the time I did that to my own mother when she comes ridin with me

But now she'* basically excluded from smoking altogether in the car because she put 4 burnholes in my headliner when she borrowed the car... how the hell do you burn a headliner?

My folks, at least my Mom, were the same way. I hated getting trapped in the cab of her pickup while she fired one up. That'* why I can't smoke in my car without the window open. Even being a long time smoker, I hate being trapped in enclosed spaces with smoke.

In the Army, we had a "field trip" from Ft Hood TX to Ft Carson CO. We went by bus. I decided I needed to be on the smoking bus, because I knew it would be a long trip. That was pure hell.....

Now-a-days I'll let ppl drink, and eat reasonable trip food, but there'* no smoking. Ask Nate. If we're ever going anywhere in my car he'* firing one off before hand.

Fixing her hair with the cig in hand.

94BonnieSE -

wakefieldl - funny how smokers are completely oblivious to the smoke and its consequences.
