Default Whew what a day! Project Silverado progress

The van engine, trasnmission, harness and ECM are out. Finally had some real time to devote to it...along with a wonderful dad and brother to help. I would rather pull a car/truck engine than a van but this wasnt too bad considering. Fellow gearheads will know what I am talking about.

I wish the weather here was good enough for me to do some work on mine. Pulling a van engine doesn't sound like fun. Glad you had no troubles.

This one wasnt too bad. 92 Chevy G20 custom van. Came out the front. However, EVERYTHING in front had to come out. Choked the chain WAY close to the engine and had to lift van and hoist at almost the same rate for about halfway, then just the hoist. With 3 of us, it was just right..we werent tripping over each other but not short handed either. I gotta finish getting all I want outta the van tomorrow so I can call the salvage yard next week to come get the shell.

I have to pay some attention to Bonney before I can wrench on my other baby too much though..code 41 rearing its ugly head and I didnt want to dig deep into it until I had the car in front of the garage.
