First year of high school.

Second week (first full week) of it.

I don't think I would have remembered that week as vividly if it all never happened.

I remember it as if it was just yesterday. I was in eight grade at the time. I was sitting in my second hour class, algebra, five minutes before the bell rang for third hour. One of the assistant teachers came in a started whispering to my teacher. Didn't think much of it. Then my teacher turned on the TV. I was dumbfounded, "how the heck could you run into a big scy-scrapper like that." I went to my next class, computer tech, the teacher had it on CNN and then we saw the second plane hit the other tower. Then i knew that this wasn't an accident. Teachers had the TVs off the rest of the day, trying to remain normal. As last hour was ending an announcement came on, no afternoon activities. So instead of going to football i went home on the bus. When i got home my dad, who usually works till 6:30 was there. We watched TV the rest of the night.

The odd part is i remember that day as if i am still right there. I even remember where i was sitting in the classrooms. My heart goes out to all who were killed in the act, or in the act of trying to help on that day. But no matter how hard those terrorists try... you can't bring down the Red, White, and Blue.

I was at work listening to internet radio. Soon as the first plane his I tried to get to the news sites on the web but they were all overloaded. I went downstairs to our cafeteria in the basement level and watched the second hit and both buildings fall. At lunch I went home and watched the rest of the remarks through out the day.
