Your SLI is pretty good...

By the way, you should never leave the forum because of a computer argument. Now, where is your mid-90s Bonneville that will let you stay here?

Ha, very nice.

I see her cruising around my hometown every once in a great while. I sold my 99' SLE in favor of my current 03' SSEi. I still have pictures of it : )

You will have to pry my cards out! I have become accustomed to turning everything up to full settings and them not breaking a sweat.

Really? You have been using Crossfire?

No, I originally had (2) 4870'* that I was trying to get to run in crossfire *cough* missfire *cough* which lived up to it'* name, running on only one card.

So I switched to a pair of GTX285'* that are working great in SLI. I can even run dual monitor while still in SLI, I don't think crossfire allows for that.

There are ups and downs to both. The main advantage to Crossfire is that it'* a better system than just two cards sharing a screen with a relatively invisible line in between them. SLI from nVidia isn't really showing much except for pure muscle and speed while it looks like ATI is really digging deep to develop technology. But it does ultimately end up in your hands, and you play games just the same regardless of the chip manufacturer. Hard to say which is better. And now, if you would please leave through that door labeled Achtung: Geben Sie nicht diesen Abgrund., it would be much appreciated.

And here'* a smiley to show I'm joking since these last few posts seem kinda abrasive:

The reason I originally wanted Crossfire is because the bang for your buck is much higher. That is especially true now, I was considering upgrading to a 5870, but now they are talking about a supposed new 300 series for nvidia that blows the competition away. I think I'll sit tight for a while.

Hey! Maybe I'll find Sapphires tech support in there! I looked everywhere else.
