X3
But I bet they haven't a clue what "goto, chain, draw, or poke" mean. Or the never wanted "syntax error"
Back in the early 80'*, I thought I knew it all in a world where Commodore 64'* ruled the world blazing at 1.08 Mz w/64k RAM. Cooling? We bought and connected 3rd party 128k RAM packs and put the OEM Power Pack they drew on in the freezer to keep them from burning out. "Pioneer Venom"

LOL! Ya I was into the video games of the time to. I ran into a cool site that had a "64" emulator. And had a ton of those games on it. Forget the site.

My dad had a Commodore 64. I didn't use it, though. There was too much good stuff to do outside. Now I'm 23 with lots of cool PCs with relatively better programming dexterity. Some of those commands are still fairly understandable, and I'm sure quite a few programs use several similar versions, especially "goto" and small apps. Syntax Error is sometimes rewritten but has generally stayed the same.

Having shiny hardware is pretty good, but the software is the really good stuff. I just spent a bit of today playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, and it was a good day. Lots of fun.

I'm more of a hardware guru than a software guru. It'* easier to grasp quickly. I don't feel like taking the time when it comes to programming.
