original room cost - $30
New Room Cost - $25

Money given back to guys - $1x3 = $3

Money kept by Receptionist - $2

New Room cost + money given back to guys + money kept by receptionish = Old Room cost

$25 + $3 + $2 = $30

Where is the problem?
