Not correct. My Grand Cherokee is a WK, referred to on the forums as a WK2 as it is the second version. A KL is a Jeep Cherokee, which is a cross over based on the Dodge Dart platform. The KL is a smaller and much less capable vehicle than the WK2.

Did I just sound a little snobbish there?

That'* odd, I've never been in a state that tows you for driving with a travel warning. The Virginia'* suggest you shouldn't drive, and expect you to have common sense not to. Well, let'* see what Phil the Ground hog has to say on the matter in two days. Though if its too ruddy cold, he may not come out of his burrow at all...

Warning
The highest level of local travel advisory, means that travel may be restricted to emergency management workers only. During a "warning" local travel advisory, individuals are directed to:
(A) refrain from all travel;
(B) comply with necessary emergency measures;
(C) cooperate with public officials and disaster services forces in executing emergency operations plans; and
(D) obey and comply with the lawful directions of properly identified officers

they sure can. in my county, and the county i work in they both opt to do the ticket/tow as extra incentive to keep people off the roads. i dont think that its fair, but i can see where it makes sense when they have to use all resources to pull people out of ditches instead of clearing roads.

Ya That makes total sense I understand until u put an XJ done w35s /lift. right beside a stock grand and well the XJ looks huge! It'* like when I pull up beside a new WK grand and they go oh wow that jeep is way taller than us! I like when u pull into a parking lot and park beside other Jeeps...conversations start immediately....
I can not image what jeeps are going to look like with FIAT in charge..Commuter small boxes?

Roy thanks for correcting me on the KL error..I dont own a Grand and I often get designations mixed up..WK2 it is! -Dyslexia? setting in?? LOL

i stopped caring about jeeps about 98-99, when dodge really started cheeping out on everything, if you look at the grand and dakotas, and stuff they have the worst complaints for wiring and other problems out of most any vehicle. the only thing that kinda interesting was the liberty diesel, but the tow rating is a thousand shy of doing what i need. regardless with all the issues we had with dodges at work and the one i am constantly working on of my fatherinlaws, i would need to see some serious improvement before i spent any of my money on a newer one. and fiat doesnt have a good record either
