Need advice
I recently had a little trouble with a person and i got arrested and charged with assault and battery and threat to commit a crime, I have a court date in a month or so. I just wanted to know if any one had some advice legal wise? Because the person that I'm in trouble with just went in to a metal hospital last week and was in there for about 5 days, and that person before that the same person kept trying to call me and send me messages on line and text messages didn't actually call me so i went to the police station and let them know, then on my bday she was calling all my friends i was with telling them things mean things and to tell them to me and want a few things back. so i went with a friend to the police station again and made a report. then that when the person went to the mental house. and both time i went to the police they called and said not to contact me and ANY way at all. Now i find out that the person is getting my passwords to my email and myspace and looking at every thing and deleting stuff. Myspace isn't a big deal cause i hate using it but its just the fact i don't have any privicay.I know i need to hire a lawyer i just wanted to see if any one else has any ideas.

Well, I can't comment on the arrest, but I would start by changing all your passwords for all your accounts to something completely different that they won't be able to guess (don't use a football reference if you are a football fan since the person would probably try them all if they know you like football a lot)
Also, before you change them, check that the email addresses for the accounts go to YOUR email. That way the person can't use the "I forgot my password" feature to gain access again. They probably got to your email first and then used that to get the passwords to other accounts.
As for the legal stuff, your explaination is kinda confusing, and in one paragraph, so not sure how much exact information you are going to get. Plus, I am not sure how much you really want to share in public since this is still pending litigation.

If you have a court date, and you've been charged with battery or assault and whatnot, here'* my advice:
(1) Get an attorney.
Try to get references from prominent businesspeople in your community for a good attorney.
(2) See #1.
