Default Whats good besides Photoshop

Photoshop seems to not like my computer with vista. What other programs out there are almost as good well for an amatuer like me.

what version of PS?

what are you looking to do with it? just resize pics, or actually edit them?

yeah, CS2 wouldn't work for me and vista either. So now i'm usin CS3. Much better.

takes a real long time to load in vista like 5 minutes used to load super quick before. I tried re installing but no luck

That'* what I use! It has most of the features of PS, and I think it also is compatible with PS filters.

yeah I am stuck using a program called ACDSEE which is pretty nice for organizing my photos and stuff.
