Abstract is good if you've never painted before lol People would think you were doing it forever. So how did you like acrylic? Try oil!

I like the 2nd one. I used to make some sweet effects just experimenting on the computer. I have gigs of stuff saved on disc of things I've whipped up just playing around.

actaully i did do an oil painting back in HS of a daisy, so you can count that as experience.. but still

i would have liked to do oil, but i dont think it would have been completely dry before wednesday...but the acrylic did dry to fast.. i would have liked to blend in some more yellow, but it was just not working...

If you don't paint like Van Gogh oil can dry in 3–4 days. Some colors dry differently though.

If you want to do more acrylic work...they make a clear gel that slows down the drying time. I love acrylics, but once I started using oil I never went back!

of course she loved both of them.. i never asked what she liked better...

but she begged and begged, and she got what she wanted.. and i just got around to doing this... inverted colors... dark blue frame and cyan mat
