Same. Had a good Zalman cooler before I switched to liquid cooling, no complaints and I don't really blame it for not being able to keep up with an overclocked Intel.

PS Nick: My setup doesn't run water, its got a non conductive non corrosive coolant. Not sure if that was one of the reasons you don't prefer them.

Damn site filter! Can't see APB. Also, suggest me a good water-cooling setup. Not too spendy but gets the job done.

Water-cooling is kind of like a catch-all classification system. I know must don't run water anymore.

Like Brian said, it'* best to build your own. Start with a powerful/reliable pump, find or make a good radiator, then find liquid blocks for all the components you want to cool. I need to get a block for my mosfet as well. I went the cheap route and got my bigwater, which is nice but doesn't cool enough for what I need and its only got my cpu on the loop, I need something BIG to run that with the graphics cards and the mosfet. I'm sure you know how much heat those cards put out, and I've got the Super Super clocked edition.

Well my case moves a lot of air being the HAF and all, plus I only run my CPU at 3.5 but usually at 3.2. I also only have the Black edition 285'* from XFX so they're not crazy and I tweak them to run at 85% fan when I'm gaming then back to auto when I'm just chilling. Because I have my huge air moving case I'm really not sure I'll even need water cooling for what I do.

Auto doesn't work on my cards... They start to come up from 40% speed right about the time they overheat. I set them to 100% when I'm going to game and it barely keeps the main card under 70*. If you are going for quiet, you should look into a big radiator that doesn't need fans and then a quiet but powerful pump. You can completely cool a system as long as you can find/make water blocks for all your components.

I've never had my cards close to 70* while gaming. Holy crap dude. I always max my settings too.

Yea, that'* the difference between 640Mhz and 702Mhz on the GPU. I kinda wish I got the regular GTX because of the heat. I also noticed they stopped selling the FTW edition lol, I bet they had a lot of overheating issues.

Technically my GTX is the regular edition. I just looked up the specs for XFX'* Black edition and tweaked mine to match.
