This will answer your problems..Where are your fog lights. If they are lower and further apart it is an SE. If they are higher and closer together its an SSE..considering that your car isn't supercharged..can't be SSEi.

At 133k miles, switching to synthetic is pointless. If you ever buy a new car or a rebuild the engine new, use synthetic all the time and then you will extract all the benefits of synthetic.

We need the fourth and fifth digits of you Vin # and the model year of your car. This is the only true way to be sure what you have. The SLE is a strange designation that is sometimes hidden under the SE appearence and sometimes looks like the SSE--depending on the year. If it isn't an SLE, it is easy to tell by the placement of the fog lights. If they are integrated into the leading edge of the bumper, than it is an SSE, if they are integrated into your airdam at the lower edge towards the outer corners (further apart and lower) it is an SE. But if you have a 1987-1991, the Vin is the way to go.

the only benefit to synthetic oils are extended drain intervals. any SL oil can stand up to 5000 km oil changes.
