okso this whole situationgot me tihnking, 1 i need to buy a sledge hammer, and 2 everyone should buy a sledge hammer and use it at leats an hour a week, the owrld would be a better place you relieve stress and itd be a good workout so everyone would be in better shape and less stressed and happier SPREAD THE WORD BUY SLEDGEHAMMERS SMASH THINGS AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE

Just connect it up to your car with your car battery disconnected, then disconnect the distributor coil in put and crank the engine over until it dies. Do it in bursts, pausing in between, so the starter does not overheat.

That'* a good idea.

The main function of the battery is to start the engine.
This will draw the most power and hence will kill the battery as quickly as possible.
You could connect it to a light to draw out the agony.

just wire a parking lght bulb or something to it and leave it as long as it takes. thats how i discharge my ni-cad batteries

dump out the water you put in the battery, mix 1/2 cup of baking soda ( not baking powder) with a gallon of water & refill the battery. It will stop all chemical reaction within the battery. Guaranteed useless at that point. Make sure you recycle the battttery. (scrap yard in my neighborhood pays you a buck a battery)

Finding this post a couple days later I'm sure it'* been taken care of..

Let'* not forget..batteries contain acid. That acid is bad for everything, you, your yard, the environment etc.

I hope you didn't get hurt by the acid while the tirade of battery stabbing occurred.
