Ok on a serious note IMO is clean the house really well, then have a nice candle lit dinner waiting for her when she gets home. Dinner is the only thing I can think of if she doesnt like roses, teddy bears etc. 
Then if that wasnt enough, give her a nice head to toe massage, but be careful how well you massage as she will probably expect it often

see my problem? she doesnt like dinners either. and theres no "Honey-Do" list to speak of. if she asks me to do something, it gets done.
im not looking to romance her, i just want to welcome her home.
shes been wanting the bedroom painted for awhile, but i wouldnt dream of cutting her out of the decision of what color and the labor of painting [she loves projects like that]
im idea-less aside from the cleaning.
