I always had the idea it wasn't legal to put previously installed air bag modules into other vehicles

I had a owner tell me that his brand new car had all 6 of the airbags go off for no reason. Insurance company totaled the car. At almost $2000 per bag, it went well over the value of the car itself.

To my knowledge there is no law preventing the use of used air bags.

I've seen more then one member here looking for air bags. List them here. Even if you get $25 for them, it'* worth it. That helps out members to get their car rolling again. And that there makes it all worth while. They should fit in a medium flat rate USPS box, I think that'* about $12.

Our cars need airbags to roll? I thought that was just an added safety feature, not a required item. I know in Missouri if your car came with airbags they don't need to be there.
