YEP..................this "Family" rocks.
It is hard to find a group of people that have as much respect for each other as we do. Even though there can be some heated discussions,we deal with it and then just get over it!!!!!!

I'm new here, so, I probably should shut up, but I have been to several different forums the past few years, and this one is one of the best. This is my first Bonneville related forum. I joined here after doing some searches for info on my car, and stumbled upon links to this site more than a few times.
I figured, this would be a good start to find info, but I liked the attitude so much, I decided to join. I see this forum is very active, and after a day away, I see a lot of new posts. I have to get a clue when it comes to using the search though. I always come up with a ton of topics that have nothing to do with my search.
Now, as for the people, You guys....and gals.... have treated me like a veteran member, and given me all the respect I could expect. I have recieved replies to my threads, and help to my problems.
I believe I'm going to be here for quite some time, and I will become more familiar with Bonnies than ever before. We love bonnevilles and my wife has regretted selling the '94 last year, so, this 96 is here to stay. If I sell my other car, I'll most likely buy another bonne next year.
I would like to take this opportunity to kindly hi-jack this guys thread, and thank everyone here who has helped me, and all those who have helped anyone at any time, because your help today becomes an informational archive for Bonneville owners in the future.
Good Job guys. and gals.....

I've got to agree with Sam, great group, tons of info.
If you didn't have an FSM at your fingertips, you wouldn't need to worry because another member will answer with the information almost as quickly as you could find it in the FSM. Plus all the other information. Gosh
As for the way everyone gets along, we are driving a different class of car. I think that has something to do with it. When you drive a rice gulping hamster with spray painted letters on the side and hard plastic seats it can affect your outlook on life. (Couldn't help a little one)
Really, think about it. Even the members who got their cars free or super cheap still have good looking cars. Not just a rust bucket. I haven't seen a pic yet of a Bonnie in really bad shape on the forum.

This group is incredible. Even my stupid questions (because I know nothing about cars but I am learning fast) get answered with respect and very fast. This is a very active group with members that are involved. I LIKE IT.

There is something to this site in general... I have never quite figured it out... Must take a certain someone to drive a Bonneville... Diffrent quality of people maybe? Who knows...
Its the people that make the site what it is, and in the end thats what matters.... If a friend totalled my bonnie I might be a bit pissed, but I'd be glad that friend was still alive to tell me about... So its not always about the cars...
There are things that have happend in the open and in the background, but we do try our best to deal with things as we go... None of us are perfect, so sometimes we just need to let go and get over it...LOL
I will say out of all the sites I have seen and been on this one has a great group of people... * Insert Group Hug Here*
Jeff started this site some time ago, as there were no sites for the Pontiac Bonneville... Myself and Willwren came in at about 150... we have been here and are still here... Our buddy Jim fell in at 500.... Its amazing to see how the site has grown in more ways than one... We have gone from a mod or 2 to several... we have gearheads too....
In the begining we had no idea what we had just stumbled onto... And it was Awsome to find out that Pontiac Performance was taking note of us...
We do the best we can...
This site was for Bonnevilles and their owners, its been a big family like atmosphere And I feel that it will remain that way...
All of us together are what makes this site what it is today... A Pat on the back for everyone....

BC is definitely pretty awesome. I don't think I've ever seen any flaming here. The only problem I have is the censorship rule. It'* the internet, not middle school. We can all stand to see a few curse words, I think. But, it'* a small price to pay for all the knowledge here, and it doesn't bother me that bad.
