what car is this (saw on website add)
It'* not a stock piece, but it may be from the factory performance division.
It'* a Mazda 3 and might even be a MazdaSpeed 3. The headlight is very distinctive.
Edit, not a MazdaSpeed, just a regular 3. No intercooler.

I still think it'* a Protege...

vs.

The headlights on the car in question are much more rounded than the three. Also, look at the turn signal and the lights.. The 3 has 2 psuedo-projectors while the Protege has just one light. The turn signal on the 3 is, again, a psuedo-projector while the Protege has a conventional turn signal...
Do I have too much time on my hands? I think so

Actually, you're right, it is a Protege. I can't see the top shape or reflectors well enough to tell, though. My telling point is the join of the fender to the bumper cover. The Protege has a much tighter curve there than the 3 does.
