Yea the full time (ups) workers have the desk jobs and computer jobs. Us Temp workers do the actual manual labor. It sucks. To me thruthfully i dont care, because the job wasnt right for me anyways. I didnt like not having a future, no benefits, not that nice of pay, and being like a slave. But it sucks how they did it, considering it isnt my fault that i got hurt.

I just need to heal up a little and get back into the job market.

wow.... your UPS is a total oppsite from mine.... Am only a part time worker... I load the trucks.... I get full time benefits, a future since they promote from within, not really a slave if you know how to work but at the same time not work ( if that makes sense lol ) and they pay, I cant beat it considering am only part time and bringing in a considerable amout a week granted I been there fro 4 yrs... I think you need to time a new UPS ...

anyways... Thats the best thing you can do just heal up and go out and find a job that fits you... also they should have to do something about you getting hurt... I donno how to find out .. Never been in your situation... Just hope for the best.... - Nick

To me, i would rather work then sit around and do nothing lol. I would get bored. Just if it continues to hurt, i dont have the money to go to the ER. But i will worrk about that tomorrow and go from there.

But yea my UPS sucks bad. I make 9 bucks an hour and no benefits, no raises, no nothing. It is through a temp service and they can lay you off at anytime. The only thing i liked about my job is it is super close and the hours. It is about 12 miles away and i worked 8-4:30. But besides that is sucks lol

I am not sure, but I think you actually need to deal with teh temp agency for your injury claim, not the job site.
I think you have no claim as to unemployment or whatever since it was though an agency, but as far as medical treatment you should be okay.

Of course, although it did not hurt at the time, you may still be fooked for not reporting it when it happened.

Either way, hope you recover quickly and find a good job

Sorry to hear about the crappy luck, TJ :( Hope you can find another job without too much trouble. Make sure you figure out what'* wrong with your knee... it would suck to have a nagging injury that follows you through life. It'd be nice if we were as good at diagnosing your injuries as we are at diagnosing engine trouble

Yea, i will be back in the job market soon. I cant wait to just get back to college and get my nursing degree, then i never have to go through this again.

As for my knee, the pain is no where near what it was yesterday. I think i just tweaked it, i figure a few more days and i will be 100% again or atleast close to it.

Yea, you guys are wicked. But somehow i think Ben is doing some voodo **** on me, everytime i get going good, either it is a car problem or i lose my job. Ben.... I am going 14'* no matter what, so quit making it hard on me buddy. (JP, but i laughed pretty hard)

Damn... you're on to my voodoo magic! I better stick pins in the doll'* hands so you can't type on BC and tell everyone about my evil intervention!

But seriously... hit 14s already! I was all fired up to see you break 14s this summer, and it was a total letdown! I told you I would be your biggest cheering section... you just need to get that car working again
