Yea, i have no clue about this. I have never been down this road before. All i know is it still hurts and it has been over 24 hours. I am a nursing student and know enough to know something isnt right lol If you have any info i would appriciate it. I am going to go to the ER tomorrow and call ups in the morning and inform them about all this. I know **** is going to hit the fan. They are going to say, oh the only reason you are doing this is because we let you go blah blah. And i was by myself so no witnesses but i know my knee hurts and it happened there so they should at the mininum pay for my er visit and what not.

File a claim immediately with UPS for the injury. Consult with an attorney.

They can't do that. Hold them responsible for it.

This is what i needed some people with info.

I just stood up to see if i can explain the pain to you guys. Here is what i can say on steps the back of my knee and the lower part of my hammy hurts. On actual impact to the ground my knee in the front hurts and there is a red bloch on the left hand side of my knee. I mean the pain isnt real high on the pain scale but it is very uncomfortable, and i knwo i can not stand on it for a long time , even walking today in like walmart sucked lol.

So should i go to the er in the morning and see what they say, or should i call ups first? I mean i am not even sure ups is open tomorrow (almost 99% sure the one i work at isnt, not even the office). Should i just walk into the er get it checked. I dont want to cause i fuss if it is just say a minor bruise type of thing. And the er is like take some ibpoufren and deal with it.

No that is the thing, it did not hurt then. I mean i have fell in my childhood and hurt myself 10 times worse. This didnt hurt at that time and i didnt even consider it. I finished the day. But it started to hurt a little when i got home. So i took a nap. Then i work up ate, and went back to bed (that told me something was wrong with my body). When i woke up that night it sucked so bad, i had to rice bag it and it was stiff. This morning i couldnt walk. Tonight i can but there is pain. I dunno. But when i did call in this morning and left a voice mail with my boss, i said right on the voice mail, i was not able to come in cause i tweaked my knee last night and was going to get some cream or something for it because it hurt and i couldnt last all day at work.

considering I work at UPS too here in Ohio tho... They do thay have people there till about 3-4am here.. So if your UPS has a night shift there should be somebody there that can help you with the information you need. and I think your right about being open tomorrow. The only people there would be the Saturday Air Drivers and well they wouldnt know anything... hope that helps. - Nick

p.*.- UPS is screwy like this my cousin got fired for hurting his back there too. and also if they actually did fire you.. You should have a union hearing that you goto and plead your case to the union since ups cant actually fire you without the unions permission if am not mistaken...

Through Adecco you pretty much have no rights what so ever. and the "We don't need you" is absolutely how they put it.

You were not employed by UPS your services were. And not to sound like a Dick but I wouldnt (unless its that bad) go anywhere with the "I hurt Myself at work" you would likely screw yourself in the long run. But go get it checked out and see.

That sucks... sorry to hear that... but there should be people there that can give you the information you need tho. That is if your building has more then one sort...

also... Thats strange that they let non-union people load/unload at my building all the temp guys, all they do to go around and audit boxes all night... who knows..

hopefully everything works out for the best for you... - Nick
