We finally got out of the wettest spring on record here and things have dried out. 85 about 10 days ago then 60-70'* the remainder. Guess the midwest heat is suppose to hit us tomorrow. They say 95 down in the city, prolly hit 85 here. My garden finally got tilled the last two days..... a month late.

Well, so far the storms keep coming, and just missing. But the day is still young. I love it when they test the sirens every Wednesday at 11am. Nice when that happens when storms are all around. Is it real, is it a test. My wife got all worked up.

Testing them is stupid. People just ignore them. then when they do sound them, people stand around thinking, that'* a weird time to test them.
That reminds me of whenever a fire alarm goes off at we just ignore them, since most of the time after they happen they tell us to ignore the fire alarms. A month, we had a fire and we didn't hear the alarm or evacuate the building.
I remember at a shop i worked at they had a ridiculously loud severe storm siren, and it went off literally every other day for about a month.. crazy weather down about 50-100 miles south of me.. but today was just warm and sunny then there was some pretty loud thunder and pouring rain + sunshine for a half hour or so and now its fine.
