Default we have a kerosene heater heating our house

i get home today from work to check on the situation, http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=70994

its about 60* in the house, and smells horrible.. i can hear something downstairs, so i go check it out... the landlord put a HUGE kerosene heater in the garage, and its easily 100* in the garage... this is the only thing keeping the house warm now, and the furnace is still not fixed...

this is extremely unsafe right?...

i want to take a nap, but im afraid i might die from the carbon monoxide poisioning...

DONT! Just like every dino fuel, it burns and emits CO2. If you want to experiment, go find one of those smoke/CO2 detectors and plug it in.

If you can handle it, go and turn the damn thing off before you get too dizzy and pass out.

C02 is carbon dioxide...which wont kill you. We exhale it. CO carbon monoxide is the killer.

In sufficient quantities it could.
